Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia has admitted that the New Patriotic Party’s agenda to break the 8-term political cycle in Ghana won’t come on a silver platter.
Speaking at the party’s National Annual Delegates Conference which was held at Kumasi, the Vice President told the gathering that the success of the NPP in the 2024 elections would depend on hugely on how well they conduct themselves.
“Breaking the 8 won’t be easy, it has never been done before”, Vice President Bauwmia said.
He cautioned that rather than encouraging internal bickering, “we (NPP) must focus on taking down the NDC.”
