Boosting Agriculture: 1,020 Farmers In Asunafo South Receive Fertilizer

A total of 1,020 farmers in the Asunafo South District of the Ahafo Region have received bags of fertilizers and urea from the District Assembly to enhance their agricultural activities.

The presentation, which took place in Kukuom, saw the District Chief Executive (DCE) and New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary candidate, Frank Aduse-Poku, explaining in an interview that the distribution includes 3,000 bags of ammonia and 1,000 bags of urea.

These items are aimed at alleviating the challenges farmers face in acquiring fertilizers.

Mr. Aduse-Poku emphasized that, the free distribution will significantly help boost food production in the district, which is known as one of the country’s key food-producing areas.

Beneficiary farmers expressed their gratitude, stating that the support will go a long way in improving their yields and increasing their income.
