Bobrisky Spent Only Three Weeks In Prison, Remaining Months In An Apartment – Report

An investigative report by FIJ has revealed that social media influencer and crossdresser Bobrisky spent only three weeks of a six-month sentence in prison.

It was disclosed that he spent the remaining sentence in a secret location.

Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, known as Bobrisky, was initially taken to ‘Kirikiri’ prison in April following the announcement of his sentence.

This revelation follows a claim made by social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, who shared an audio in which Bobrisky allegedly stated that he spent most of his time outside prison and paid N15 million to operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to drop a money laundering charge.

According to FIJ, during Bobrisky’s brief time in prison, he received VIP treatment and was “guarded like a president.”

“Bob spent only three weeks here in Kirikiri before being moved to another location we don’t know. It was an ‘arranged thing.’ And money was involved,” A prison official stated.

Bobrisky reportedly came out of prison looking notably chubby, leading to many speculations.

The prison official confirmed, “She lived in a special cell, and the money she said she paid is actually true; no lies. Yes, she paid the money.”

These claims align with a 2019 undercover investigation by FIJ founder Fisayo Soyombo, who found that it was possible to pay for better living conditions inside prisons, bring in prohibited items, and even live outside while serving a sentence.

While prison authorities restricted Bobrisky from mingling freely with other inmates, one incident highlighted her unique status.

A prison official recounted how an inmate was punished for inadvertently filming Bobrisky during a video call, resulting in nearly two months of confinement for him.

Overall, the report suggests that Bobrisky’s imprisonment was marked by privilege and financial influence, raising questions about the integrity of the justice system.
