Bibiani: Husband Kills Wife After Divorce Threats
A 26-year-old, Joyce Affi Jessica has been allegedly murdered by his husband, Emmaneul Okyere Baffour.
The sad incident happened at Degede a suburb of Bibiani in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region.
According to the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Divisional Crime Officer, Supt. Seth Serwonor, the deceased’s relatives called the police and informed them about the murder.
The late Joyce allegedly decided not to marry the husband again.
The husband then asked for forgiveness but Joyce declined.
Later, the husband invited the late Joyce for amicable settlement but talks failed and Emmanuel stabbed her 5 times to death.
He then covered the deceased with clothes and bolted.
The body has been deposited at the mortuary for preservation and autopsy.
