‘Beware Of Fraudsters’ – Abronye DC Cautions MMDCE Aspirants

Bono Regional Chairman of the NPP, Kwame Baffoe aka Abronye DC has cautioned all MMDCE aspirants to be vigilant over fraudulent activities from unknown committee members in the ongoing MMDCE vetting.

According to him, “…some unscrupulous persons have through their own dubious means gained access to the contacts of several MMDCE aspirants and have contacted a good number of them portraying to be members and calling on behalf of the various MMDCE select committees particularly Bono Region demanding huge sums of money from MMDCE aspirants.”

He urged them to report such issues to the Police.

It has come my notice that, some unscrupulous persons have through their own dubious means gained access to the contacts of several MMDCE aspirants and have contacted a good number of them portraying to be members and calling on behalf of the various MMDCE select committees particularly Bono Region demanding huge sums of money from MMDCE aspirants.

For the avoidance of doubt, I wish to state categorically that, the MMDCE select committee is not taking money from anyone in return of any favour or whatsoever neither has the committee sanctioned or authorized anyone to call aspirants to demand money from them.

In some instances, these criminals are portrayed to be calling from the office of the President.

I wish to posit categorically that, just like the way the MMDCE select committee has not sanctioned anyone to extort money from MMDCE aspirants, the Office of the President has also not done the same and never will Jubilee House occasion such illegality.

It is important to note that, persons calling the MMDCE aspirants are nothing but fraudsters and thus, all MMDCE must endeavor to report any such instance to the nearest police station or deal with them at their own peril.

Please be advised accordingly
Thanks with regards

Signed
Chairman Kwame Baffoe Abronye
