A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Richard Agyemang, has called on party faithful to elect Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, as the National Chairman of the party.
According to him, Chairman Wontumi and the current General Secretary, Justin Frimpong Kodua, possess the experience and leadership qualities needed to effectively steer the affairs of the NPP.
“Let’s give the NPP National Chairman position to Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, and also maintain the General Secretary of the NPP, Justin Frimpong Kodua, because they can play their roles very well,” he said.
Richard Agyemang made these remarks during the Wontumi Morning Show hosted by Kyeremanteng Nkansah. He emphasized that although the two leaders may have made mistakes in the past, those shortcomings have been corrected.
“They have the experience to lead the NPP. Wherever they made mistakes, they have corrected them. If we give them another opportunity, they can perform even better. I pray for them to win and do a better job for the NPP and Ghana,” he stated.
