A renowned researcher, Dr. Smart Sarpong has advised the Managing Editor for the Daily Newspaper to cease churning out researches based on his personal opinions and stick to scientific methods.
Dr. Smart Sarpong’s call comes on the back of a supposed research publication by Mr. Ephson that stated that Chairman Wontumi can’t lead the New Patriotic Party to break the 8 because he hasn’t finished building a party office in Ashanti region.
He claimed that Mr. Ephson is making mockery of himself by publishing inaccurate research findings full of sensationalism and personal opinions.
“For him (Mr. Ephson) to say that Chairman Wontumi hasn’t finished building a party office so that means he can’t lead the party to break the 8, gave him out. In research sensationalism and personal views don’t count”, Dr. Sarpong said as he cautioned Mr. Ephson on Wontumi TV.
Mr. Ben Ephson’s latest work according to Dr. Sarpong, is a guess work.
“He is entitled to his intelligent guess, he hasn’t shown any methodology so we assume he is guessing. He did a sponsored work”, Dr. Sarpong said.
