Ben Ephson Sat In His Bedroom And Never Went Out For A Survey- Journalist Says

An Accra-based Journalist, Kwaku Dawuro, has said that Ben Ephson sat in his bedroom to predict Chairman Wontumi’s stance in the Ashanti Regional chairmanship race.

The self-acclaimed Pollsters and Managing Editor for the Daily Dispatch Newspaper, Ben Ephson, ahead of the Ashanti Regional elections falsely predicted the outcome saying Chairman Wontumi known in real life as Bernard Antwi Boasiako will not be re-elected as the Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Unfortunately for him, he got his prediction wrong as usual.

On Wednesday, 01 June 2022, the host of Movement In The Morning Political Show, Dawuro, condemned  Ephson’s wrong prediction and charged him to come out and apologize to Ghanaians and Chairman Wontumi for misleading them.

“You said Chairman Wontumi will lose with not less than 100 votes but he won with 186 votes. You have deceived Ghanaians for a long time; you can’t keep throwing dust into our eyes- we demand an apology’’, he said.

He further told him to have the courage to come out and apologize to Ghanaians for his authoritative false prediction and tell them how he sat in his bedroom to forecast deceptively.

“Today science and data are working so you can’t continue to trick us. No one is a child, If  elections are won with money Robert Asare Bediako would have won the chairmanship race after paying every delegate a 1000cedis’’, he added.

In the current development,  Ben Ephson says his prediction did not go as planned because Chairman Wontumi bought delegates to vote for him.
