The leadership of the National Democratic Congress, have been advised by the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, to be truthful to Ghanaians as they go about their campaign.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II in an interaction with the elders of the NDC, led by former President John Mahama, established that the NDC should be bold and tell Ghanaians the mistakes they made when they were in government.

He directed former President and his campaign team to tell “Ghanaians your mistakes” and also be “truthful to them when you are campaigning”.

During the same meeting, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II also chided the leadership of the NDC for abandoning the Manhyia Palace ever since they lost the 2016 general elections.

He ended his speech by advising them to frequent the Manhyia Palace like they did before noting that “my grandchildren, today I have seen you all, next time come and visit me”.

The flagbearer of the NDC, Mr. John Mahama today introduced his running mate to the overlord of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
