Be A Responsible Christian And Get Vaccinated – Pastor Joshua Obeng

A resident Pastor of the Calvary Charismatic Center (CCC), Pastor Joshua Obeng has admonished Ghanaians, especially Christians to get vaccinated against the deadly Covid-19.

He said being a Christian does not mean one should avoid the vaccination.

“Be a responsible Christian and get vaccinated. The Bible, nowhere has asked Christians not to get vaccinated,” he noted.

Pastor Joshua Obeng repeated that those who are refusing to be vaccinated are not only putting themselves in danger but the whole society at large.

He was speaking at a press conference to outline programs as Pastor Ransford Obeng, General Overseer of Calvary Charismatic Center (CCC) host Dr Mensa Otabil in a spiritual empowerment program.

He noted that CCC and for that matter Charismatic Churches believe that taking the Covid-19 vaccine is godly and responsible.

Pastor Josh said, ‘none of us live to ourselves and that protecting ourselves from diseases was wisdom since none would want his or her family to contract deadly diseases such as Covid-19 and others and die out of same’.

“Taking the Covid-19 vaccine is a sign of responsibility and the church must not stop anyone from taking the jab because we need to be alive to do the work of God and help in the soul winning efforts of Christ Jesus”, Pastor Josh posited passionately.

The 3 – day program, he said will start on 13th of January to 15th January.

Pastor Joshua Obeng appealed to residents in Kumasi to take advantage of the visit of Dr Mensa Otabil to CCC to begin the year well.

According to him, how you start the year will have an impact on how you end same.
