Raphael Patrick Sarfo has commended Vice President Bawumia for aptly describing John Mahama as “Mallam John”.
According to Raphael Sarfo, a regional youth organizer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), there was nothing wrong with the description Vice President Bawumia chose since it fits Mr. John Mahama perfectly.
In an interview on Wontumi TV, the regional youth organizer hopeful added that calling Mr. Mahama a “Mallam” was not an insult when compared to the disparaging description the latter once used on the people of Akyem.
“Mahama attacked the people of Akyem by calling them Akyem sakawa people. but when Bawumia is describing him as Mallam John, hell wants to break loose?” he sarcastically quizzed on TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.
Adding to his contribution, Mr. Thomas Kusi Boafo stated that members of the NPP must not engage National Democratic Congress (NDC) in debates stemming from insults.
He conceded that the NPP would fall short to the NDC when they dabble debates which are not issue related but only insults.
“We must focus on issues, they (NDC) will run when the focus is on issues. When you bring insults they will win”, Mr. Boafo said.
