The Ashanti regional first Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Nsenkyire, is canvassing for Vice President Bawumia, Chairman Wontumi and himself to run unopposed when the time comes for them to contest for party positions.
In a video being circulated on social media, Kwabena Nsenkyire is heard interacting with NPP members and telling them that he knows National Democratic Congress (NDC) members who are willing to join the NPP to support the candidature of Vice President Bawumia to help him succeed President Akufo-Addo as President.
He pleaded with the group to maintain Chairman Wontumi as Ashanti regional Chairman of the NPP to allow them win the impending elections.
