The Bona East Regional Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Amoah Sampson with Oheneba Nana Asiedu on the Wontumi morning show, he expressed that apart from the natural resources that God gave Ghana, Dr. Bawumia is another resource Ghana has discovered.
According to him, the policies and vision of the vice president outlined provides a clear cut plan to salvage the economical and developmental woes of Ghana.
He recounted how Dr. Bawumia through the “gold for oil” policy which means Ghana aims to secure competitively priced oil by selling gold to ease pressure on the local currency, reverse rocketing fuel prices, and fixing the balance of payment problems.
“From the beginning, God gave us so many resources, along the line, Tetteh Quarshie brought Cocoa to Ghana and with the help of the former president Kufour he discovered oil on the land but today, the entire Nation should understand that God has given us something new, a new resource which is the vice president Dr. Bawumia. Like it or not he’s the human resource God has given us. God in his own wisdom blesses a Nation he wants to transform with such leaders with vision”
Also he believes the digitalisation agenda is one that is going to supplement the workload of government and make governance easier. Making references to how some great nations have reduced the number of Ministers and civil servants, he believes it is going to make the vice president’s dream of 50 ministerial appointments very achievable.
