Kwaku Dawuro, host of Movement In The Morning on Movement TV, has criticized former Youth Employment Agency (YEA) CEO Kofi Agyepong for praising his successor, Malik Basintale, from the opposition party.
Dawuro questioned Agyepong’s sudden display of support, wondering why he didn’t show similar enthusiasm during his party’s campaign ahead of the 2024 elections.
Agyepong’s praise for Basintale was captured in a viral video, where he urged YEA staff to support his successor.
Dawuro expressed skepticism about Basintale’s qualifications for the position.
“I’m told Basintale is not even qualified for the position. One needs at least a minimum of master’s degree with 10 years working experience before you could occupy such position. Basintale is not competent to manage such portfolio”, he said.Â
Dawuro accused Agyepong of hypocrisy, suggesting that he was trying to imply that Basintale was more qualified than him.
