Bantama MP Shares Heart With Students On Vals Day.

Francis Asenso Boakye, Minister for Works and Housing and MP for Bantama on Tuesday morning shared his heart with students at the Kumasi Girls Senior High School in Abrepo, suburb within the constituency.

The Minister who decided to surprise the students on the day which has been christened as Valentines Day admonished them to make use of the good lessons the day brings.

He explained that Valentine’s Day was a day one showed special kindness to fellow human beings just as they are expected to do on any other day.

‘’I urge you to have the right concept of Valentine’s Day, a day we show love and kindness to our friends, colleagues, class mates and any other relations we have with people so that collectively we can enjoy the moment’’, the Minister stated.

ADMONITION:

The Minister urged the students to put in their best in their academic studies and asked that they show respect to school authorities.

Hon Asenso urged the girls to demonstrate good morals at all times and study on their own when they get the chance rather than any other thing.

He noted that the government of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was committed to giving them a solid foundation in education hence the huge investments in the same by making SHS free for all.

‘’I came here with some chocolates for all of you because for us in Ghana we share the same to demonstrate kindness, selflessness and love for others on this day and I believe the lessons we have learnt would stick with us forever’’, the MP stated.

PROJECTS:

Speaking to this reporter, the Minister said he was happy seeing the girls neatly dressed and happy going about their studies.

He noted that he had also been made aware of several projects the school wants to embark on as it prepares to celebrate their anniversary.

The Minister promised to work on appeals including the internal roads in the school which he admitted were in bad shape.

‘’As MP for this constituency which houses this prestigious school I am committed to doing my best to help in the projects authorities want to embark on and it was good hearing the Minister of Roads assure me of support for the school’’, the Minister stated.
