Mr. Obrempong Frimpong has accused Mr. Alban Bagbin of trying to use Parliament to stage a coup d’etat in Ghana.
Rejection of the 2022 budget by minority MPs supported by the Speaker of Parliament, Bagbin has shown clearly that the latter wants to use his position to stage a coup d’etat.
“Bagbin could stage a coupe in Ghana. He can create a Scenario in the country that could grind it to a halt”, Obrepong Frimpong said.
He continued that the Speaker of Parliament wants to use his position to get the minority MPs pass a vote of no confidence in the Akufo-Addo led government.
“They want to use parliament for their coupe and not guns”, Mr. Obrempong Frimpong underscored.
