Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, shamefully sacked Finance Minister Mr. Ken Ofori-Atta from the parliamentary chamber yesterday, Hon. Stephen Amoah has revealed.
The Speaker according to the MP for Nhyiaeso sent a marshal after the Finance Minister to ensure he is sacked from the place but didn’t see the need to chase Johnson Asiedu Nketia who is a member of the NDC out.
“Speaker of Parliament sent a marshal to sack Ken Ofori-Atta from the chamber…But we saw Asiedu Nketia sitting in the chamber as well”, he said to show how biased the Speaker was when he acted.
In an interview on Wontumi TV, Dr. Amoah noted that the NDC MPs called for the budget to be scrapped because they claim it didn’t make allocation for the Keta Sea Defense project.
He also added that the minority MPs said there is a need to scrap e tax and Agyapa before they will approve the budget.
