The founder and CEO of Atta Mills Institute Mr. Koku Anyidoho, has claimed that the John Evans Atta Mills Memorial Heritage is a “counterfeit” group.
Mr. Anyidoho in an interview on Wontumi TV expressed satisfaction with the works he is doing at Atta Mills Institute noting that envy has pushed others to form John Evans Atta Mills Memorial Heritage which is turning out to be a lame horse.
According to him, the Atta Mills Institute has become firmly rooted because “for ten years, we have used good heart to work to protect the legacy of Mills.”
Asked by the host of the show why he described the Atta Mills Memorial Heritage as a counterfeit group, Mr. Anyidoho explained that “if there was no counterfeit, you won’t be able to see the original version…The new one is not original, we are the market leaders and we thank God people are copying us.”
Former President John Mahama launched the John Evans Atta Mills Memorial Heritage on 1st February, 2022 at the University of Ghana.
The Memorial Heritage is described as a non-profit, independent, non-partisan organisation anchored in Prof Mills’s passion and commitment to inclusivity, transparency, accountability and his relentless quest for peace and a better society.
