A loyalist of Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, Paul Kwabena Yandoh has advised an ardent support of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong not to describe the latter as the “second JJ” since it evokes horrible and terrible memories.
Before issuing the caution, lawyer William Kusi had openly described Hon. Kennedy Agyapong on the Wontumi Morning Show as the “second JJ” and the preferred candidate to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) into the 2024 elections.
But Mr. Yandoh quipped that the description of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong by his supporter on the show was wrong and as such shouldn’t come from someone who belongs to the NPP.
In a direct message to lawyer Kusi, Mr. Yandoh stated that “a person like you who belongs to NPP is talking about second JJ. Don’t even go there; you are going to remind people about pain so don’t even mention it”.
He emphatically said people with militant minds can’t help Ghana develop as was the case preached by lawyer William Kusi on the show.
He used the occasion to appeal to Ghanaians and the NPP to endorse Vice President Bawumia since he has proven in our history to be the “most performing vice President”.
Mr. Yandoh described the vice President as someone who is smart and teaches us the value of smartness in this modern age.
“We can’t use people with militant mind to help the nation. It is not about hard work but it is about smartness”, he said.
