Aside being rowdy, the Bono East Regional Secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has wondered if lawmakers with ties with the National Democratic Congress (NDC), make any sensible contributions in Parliament.
Mr. David Boakye has stated on Wontumi TV that the current posture of NDC MPs show that they are violent and fail to provide sensible alternatives when issues come up for deliberation.
Video below…
He singled out a shameful act from the NDC MP for Ashaiman, Ernest Henry Norgbey who was captured kicking and hauling the seat of the Speaker of Parliament in a violent way during a deliberation on the 2022 budget.
“How can an MP from Ashaiman go and pick the Speaker’s chair and throw it away”, Mr. David Boakye wondered.
The NPP secretary continued that when the NPP used to be in opposition, their legislators never acted in violent ways but rather contributed wisely to discussions.
