Ashanti Regional Minister Embroiled In Council Of State Election Controversy- Agric Nzemahene Speaks Out

The Paramount Chief of Agric Nzema Traditional Council and also a contestant for the Council of State, Nana Nkansah Boadu, has revealed that the Ashanti people voted for him as Council of State in the Ashanti Region due to his selflessness towards them.

Speaking with Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Wontumi’s morning show, Nana Boadu declared that he was selected as Council of State due to his selfless attitude towards his people in the Ashanti Region. However, due to the chaos caused by some people, there should be a re-vote on Monday, February 17.

He exposed that the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, and the Coordinating Director, who were in charge, amended the majority of the voters who might have voted for him. In the morning, they redraw the presiding members who were supposed to be in charge at some polling stations.

Nana revealed that the Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, brought a busload of macho men with their weapons immediately after the election was over. He explained that the chaos happened unexpectedly while they were counting the ballot papers, and it was out of hand.

Nana Boadu concluded by exposing the heartless attitude of the Regional Minister towards him, as he was disrespected by the Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, who even declined to acknowledge him, saying he did not know the Chief, Nana Nkansah Boadu, despite having visited the king before.
