The Ashanti regional chapter of the New Patriotic Party has celebrated Nana Ama Poku of Exim Bank following her dedication to the region on birthday.
In celebrating her, the Ashanti regional Chairman for the party, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako aka Chairman Wontumi together with his special aide, Mr. Andy Owusu praised her for being a strong spirited woman and an inspiration to all.
On behalf of the region, Mr. Andy Owusu told Wontumionline.com in an interview that Ashanti region has benefitted greatly from Nana Ama Poku as deputy CEO of Exim Bank.
He prayed for divine guidance and encouraged her to maintain her work rate which has elevated her to where she is today.
In December 2019, Nana Ama Poku was inducted into the Global Women Leaders Hall of Fame – Centre for Economic and Leadership Development (CELD) in Dubai.
That same year, she bagged and award at the Global Leadership Excellence – Centre for Economic and Development (CELD) in an event held at Dubai.
Then in 2021 in Accra, she won Outstanding Woman in Finance Award – Instinct Business Finance Innovation Awards (IBFIA).
