Ashanti Region Comes To A Standstill As Manyhia Chiefs, Ministers, MMDCEs Join Chairman Wontumi To Mourn Mother

The Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party has expressed gratitude to persons who took the pain to join him observe the one week celebration of his late mother yesterday.

Together with his family, the Ashanti Regional Chairman thanked the Chief of Agric Nzema, Nana Nkansah Boadu Ayeboafo; Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Simon Osei-Mensah and the second deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Joseph Osei-Owusu.

The one week celebration was also graced by Chiefs from the Manyhia Palace.

In attendance was the Minister of Education and Member of Parliament (MP) for Bosomtwe Hon. Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum and the deputy caucus NPP chair in Parliament.

Wontumionline.com also spotted the deputy minister for Local Government and Rural Development, Hon. Augustine Collins Ntim; deputy minister of Communications, Ms Ama Pomaa Boateng; deputy CEO of Minerals Commission, Ms Shirley Kyei; MP for Manso Adubia, Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo; MP for Nsuta, Hon. Adelaide Ntim; Director-General of Ghana’s State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA), Mr. Edward Boateng and business consultant, Mr. Francis Owusu Akyaw.

Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) also came in their numbers to support Chairman Wontumi and his family.

Regional executives of the NPP, serial callers and party faithuls were also around as well as workers from the Wontumi media group.
