Asante Kotoko Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum Gifts Players Gh¢4,000 For Defeating Aduana Stars
Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum on Saturday gifted his players four thousand Ghana cedis for defeating Aduana Stars at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.
The tactician had promised to gift his charges the aforementioned amount of cedis if they won, and the gesture was in fulfilment of that pledge.
After five draws and six defeats in 11 league visits to the NAB Park, the Porcupines defied the odds to record our first-ever win over Aduana Stars, beating them 2-0 with goals from George Mfegue and Richmond Lamptey in both halves of the game.
“I believe in rewarding hard work”, Prosper Narteh said as he handed the money to captain, Abdul Ganiyu in the team bus. “You worked so hard and stayed disciplined throughout the game.”
