FULL STATEMENT:
I condemn outright the killing of one Ms. Georgina Asor Botchwey which happened in my constituency.
It is very unfortunate that a chief and a pastor who are suppose to be apostles of peace and security are those purported to be behind this barbaric act which has never been part of the noble people of Mfantseman constituency.
My heartfelt condolence goes to the family of Ms. Botchwey who had attended her interview as part of the processes to be enrolled as a Nursing student.
I know this is a difficult moment for them and it is my prayer the Almighty God comforts them.
I would also like to use this medium to admonish the Ghana Police Service to get to the bottom of this barbaric act and make sure the family of the deceased is served justice.
May the soul of the dead rest in peace.
