Asabeee Celebrates Women Across The World
The leading aspirant in the upcoming national chairmanship contest of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hon Stephen Asamoah Boateng (ASABEEE) has commended women around the world for their numerous sacrifices to our lives.
According to the former Local Government, Environment, Tourism and Information Minister, his own life has been greatly affected by his sweet mother, the late Mary Enchill; the Rt.Hon. Mrs. Margaret Thatcher (UK Prime Minister); numerous Aunties; and other women he’s come across. Women have and continue to play crucial roles in the economy of the world.
Speaking to this reporter as the world celebrates International Women’s Day today, Hon Boateng said women deserve better and must be praised.
Women, the former SIGA Director General noted are able to adapt and positively improve every situation they find themselves.
The NPP chairmanship aspirant, particularly, heaped praises on Ghanaian women for standing side-by-side with their male counterparts for the nation’s development.
Asabeee reminded all of us to keep in mind what Dr. James Kwegyir Aggrey aptly said,
“The surest way to keep people down is to educate the men and neglect the women. If you educate a man you simply educate an individual, but if you educate a woman, you educate a whole nation.”
Mr Boateng therefore commended Ghanaian women for what they do and asked them not to feel discouraged when they go through challenges.
“You are bold, determined and tenacious and as the world celebrate you today know that we value your contributions wherever you are placed”, Asabeee passionately stressed.
