Ama Pomaa Donates Cash, Cement Towards Ofoase Clinic Project.

 

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Juaben, Hon Ama Pomaa Boateng has donated twenty bags of cement and cash amount of GHC 1000.00 to the regent of Ofoase, a farming community in Juaben.

The gesture was towards the construction of a clinic to serve residents of Ofoase.

In a brief presentation ceremony last week, Louis Afrifa aide to the MP presented the cash and bags of cement to the Odikro of the town.

Accompanied by Seth Owusu and Nicholas Donkor, Assembly member for Ofoase and Research Officer of the NPP respectively, Mr Afrifa said the MP was committed to helping the community have a clinic where they can seek health care.

INITIATIVES:
The Research Officer of the NPP and aide to the MP, Nicholas Donkor noted that Hon Pomaa was closely following the project at Ofoase.

He said the passion of the MP is to ensure all communities in Juaben are provided with basic amenities including health posts and markets.

Currently, the MP is exploring ways to empower all persons involved in all trades in the constituency to be on their feet, the aide revealed.

This, he mentioned includes the provision of equipment and cash amounts to help them expand their businesses and create employment avenues for others.

APPRECIATION:
Regent of Ofoase, Nana Bugyei II receiving the bags of cement and cash from the MP commended her for her kindness.

He noted that the community had taken particular interest in the show of commitment by the MP in issues of education, health care and social empowerment.

Nana Bugyei II flanked by Committee Chairman of the Project, Ahmed Boateng asked other well to do residents to show support to the project.

“I urge all of us to learn from our MP, Hon Pomaa by contributing money and other items to help us to complete this clinic on time so it can serve us well”, the regent appealed.
