We strongly believe that, Vice President of the Republic, HE Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, will win about 70% of the Ashanti Region votes in the presidential primary.
Our belief stems from the fact that, Ashanti as a region does not pay any particular attention to one’s ethnicity when selecting political leaders, in this case, a leader of our beloved New Patriotic Party, but rather other important qualities like competence, humility, affability, etc:
HE Dr Bawumia is an embodiment of all these and many more. We therefore as a team, declare our support for him.
