Alan K Gives To Kumasi Children’s Home
The Trade Minister, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen on Sunday donated foodstuffs and assorted soft drinks to the kids at the Kumasi Children’s Home.
The gesture was the highlight of the trade minister’s birthday celebration.
Mr Kyerematen who turned 66 years last Sunday decided to share the joy of life with children at the popular Home in Kumasi.
Presenting the items on behalf of the Trade Minister was Lydia Karikari, Leader of Alan Special Ladies (ASL)group.
MESSAGE:
The representative of the Trade Minister said it was needful that at such a momentous occasion Mr Kyerematen shared his joy with others.
Mr Kyerematen, she revealed therefore decided to do so with the vulnerable and needy at the Kumasi Children’s Home.
The gesture, she noted will also bring to the Trade Minister the happiness he always desire because he always wants to give to help others.
Present during the brief ceremony at the Children’s Home were members and patrons of the Alan Special Ladies and other well-wishers of the Trade Minister including James Nana Prempeh, Assemblymember for Nhyiaeso.
APPRECIATION:
Receiving the items on behalf of the Home, Reverend Michael Amissah said the children as well as the management of the Home were grateful for the gesture.
He noted that for such a high profile person like Alan K to celebrate his birthday and think about persons at the home meant he was caring and considerate.
He prayed that God grants the Trade Minister good health to undertake his mandate and to do well in his future political life.
Rev Amissah appealed to other citizens of the country to emulate the gesture by the Trade Minister and show care to the children at the home to lessen the burden on the government which caters for the home through subvention.
