Akufo-Addo’s One Million Dollar Per Constituency On Course As Middle Belt CEO Inspects Ongoing Projects
The government through middle Belt Authority is providing physical infrastructure to the citizenry.
One million dollar per constituency is developmental agenda by the government under the supervision of three authorities namely Middle Belt Authority, Northern Belt Authority and Coastal Belt Authority.
Middle Belt Authority under the leadership of Hon Joe Danquah (CEO), on Friday 16th July, 2021 paid a working visit to Asutifi south district to inspect ongoing projects of the authority.
Hon Joe Danquah CEO middle Belt Authority and his team including DCE for Asutifi south district Hon Robert Dwomo Mensah first paid a courtesy call on Dadiesoaba Chief Nana Atta Mensah II whose town is a beneficiary of the authority’s projects.
After the courtesy call on Dadiesoaba Chief, Hon Joe Danquah handed over a 20 seater W/C facility to the Nana and the citizenry of Dadiesoaba to help solve open defecation in the town.
After a short handover ceremony the team visited over 250 bed capacity dormitory facility for Dadiesoaba Nursing and Midwifery training college which comes with over 250 bed capacity, bathroom, toilet, washing and ironing bay to see progress of work which awaits for official commissioning.
After the dormitory inspection, Hon Joe Danquah and his team also visited Semi detached bangalow for Dadiesoaba health center.
The team after Dadiesoaba visited ongoing 20 seater toilet facility for Nkasiem community which comes with toilet, bath and urinal which is first of its kind.
The inspection of projects also took the team to Hwediem community of which ultramodern dormitory facility is been built for Hwediem Senior High School which comes with over 250 bed capacity rooms, bathroom, toilet, washing and ironing bay, and two bedrooms apartment for Senior house mistress and also two ultramodern 20 seater toilet facility for Hwediem community.
The team finally visited Akyerensua Senior High School to also inspect progress of work on another ultramodern dormitory facility which also waits for official commissioning by the President Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo.
Hon Joe Danquah CEO for Middle Belt Authority after the inspection mentioned to the media that, they are satisfied with work done by the contractors and in few days the facilities will be hand over to the various communities.
He further stated that, the President Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo has delivered on his promise to Ghanaians on the agenda one million dollars per constituency which hepromised in 2016.
The Chief of Dadiesoaba Nana Atta Mensah II commended the President Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo, Vice President, Dr Alhaji Mahamud Bawumia and the Middle Belt Authority for providing them three projects at ago.
He used the occasion to urge beneficiaries to take good care of the toilet facility.
The District Chief Executive Hon Robert Dwomoh Mensah who couldn’t hide his delight said that, he is happy that his District is benefiting over 20 projects from the middle Belt Authority.
He affirmed that, the critics of the one million dollars per constituency should come to his District to witness for themselves the number of projects that are currently going on.
