The free Senior High School (SHS) policy which has been implemented by President Akufo-Addo, is the most attacked policy in Ghana’s history, the Chief Executive Officer of Public Sector Reforms, Mr. Thomas Kusi Boafo, has observed.

The respected Economist in an interview on the Wontumi Morning Show stated that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has a high and flying campaign message than the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Every campaign has the high and flying message”, Mr. Kusi Boafo established in the interview which was monitored by Wontumionline.com.

He added that one of the NPP’s flying messages during the 2012 general election, was free education in their manifesto.

The free SHS in his view “is the most attacked policy in Ghana’s history. The NDC attacked the policy but Ghanaians voted for Nana Addo and he has delivered it in less than 4 years.

He therefore urged Ghanaians not to trust the flagbearer of the NDC, Mr. John Mahama when he talks about maintaining the policy should he be voted for.

He directly told Mr. Mahama that “now the person who doubted the policy is now telling us he will come and enhance it and that it has come to stay. But the person who brought it is more trusted than you”.
