Leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Kofi Akpaloo, has lavished praise on President Nana Akufo-Addo’s administration for its remarkable strides in education and healthcare.
In an interview on Wontumi Morning Show on Wontumi TV, Mr. Akpaloo noted that President Akufo-Addo’s introduction of free Senior High School (SHS) education for all students of school-going age has been a game-changer. This initiative, which has been in place for eight years, has led to a significant increase in educational infrastructure in SHS schools, universities, TVET institutions, and STEM schools.
Mr. Akpaloo particularly commended the President for prioritizing education, stating that it is essential for human development and improving livelihoods. He emphasized that education empowers people to become wise, which is why some parties may oppose it.
In the health sector, Mr. Akpaloo praised President Akufo-Addo for building 30 new hospitals and embarking on an ambitious project to construct 111 hospitals across the country using internally generated funds. He also highlighted the President’s efforts in improving road infrastructure.
According to Mr. Akpaloo, President Akufo-Addo’s achievements in education and healthcare are unparalleled, not only in Ghana but also in the entire African continent.
He concluded that the President’s investments in these critical sectors demonstrate his commitment to the welfare and development of the Ghanaian people.
