Akufo-Addo To Open Workshop For Confirmed MMDCEs
Head of Local Governance, Dr. Nana Ato Arthur has stated that a workshop will commence Tuesday for the confirmed Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives in Accra.
He revealed that the importance of this landmark programme will rope in President Akufo-Addo to open the workshop.
Dr. Ato Arthur made this known in an interview on Wontumi Radio Morning Show on Monday.
He said the re-appointed MMDCEs will have a one day workshop while the first time MMDCEs will have a two day training.
According to Dr. Nana Ato Arthur, the training will help the MMDCEs to acquire the basic things needed before starting work.
He stated the several Ministers like, Senior Presidential Advisor, Hon. Yaw Osafo Marfo, Finance Minister, Hon. Ken Ofori -Atta, Trade and Industry Minister, Hon. Alan Kyeremateng, Food and Agriculture Minister, Hon. Owusu Afriyie-Akoto among others will give separate speeches at the workshop.
