Akufo-Addo Thinks About Our Future, Support Him To Do More For Us- Ga East MCE Appeals To Ghanaians

Municipal Chief Executive for Ga East, Hon. Janet Tulasi Mensan, has called on Ghanaians to vote massively for President Akufo-Addo to continue his good works.

According to her, President Akufo-Addo has shown much concern for ordinary Ghanaians given his numerous social intervention programmes targeted at the poor..

Speaking on the Kumasi-based Wontumi Radio/TV’s Election 2020 flagship programme, she said, “let’s support the President to continue his good works so that our children’s future would be brighter.”

He continued, “Let us not be myopic. We should think about the future because nobody knows what the future holds.” She told Oheneba Nana Asiedu, the host of the programme.

Hon. Tulasi Mensan noted that, without the introduction of the free SHS programme, the needy children in the country wouldn’t have had the opportunity to attend some of the most prestigious schools to rub shoulders with children of the affluent.

According to the Ga East MCE sometimes she pities those whose type of politics is not vision-based and always think of making empty promises.
The hardworking MCE explained that, she recently heard the flagbearer of the NDC, John Mahama make promises of giving each Ghanaian a refrigerator and a Television set if he comes to power.

She retorted., “This is serious. We are thinking more about proactive programmes that guarantee secured future for our children and not sweet empty promises John Mahama often makes.”

Hon. Tulasi Mensan, appealed to Ghanaians to vote peacefully on the election day and look out for the elephant ‘s symbol and vote for both Nana Addo and the Parliamentary candidate in one’s constituency.

She also pointed out that, “election is a battle of opinions but not war.”

“We shouldn’t allow the one who has sent his children abroad to exploit those with deprived backgrounds to engage in violence .” She cautioned Ghanaians
