Akufo-Addo Storms Asokwa Constituency, Tears Independent Candidate Apart

President Akufo-Addo took the 2020 election campaign to Atonsu in the Asokwa Constituency of the Ashanti Region to canvas for votes.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters came in their numbers to welcome the first gentleman of the land to the area.

Addressing the huge crowd at Atonsu monitored by Wontumionline.com, he said that in 2016 he came to plead for votes and they granted him.

According to him, it’s time to give account of the work he has done to the people.

“If you are pleased with the work I have done then give me the opportunity to continue my work.” He said

He emphasized that if the four more years for Nana materialized, he alone cannot work so therefore he needs Members of Parliament to support him do his work.

He appealed to the electorates at Atonsu to vote for him and the MP and PC for the area, Hon. Patricia Appiagyei fondly called Sompahemaa.

“God has blessed you with a woman.She has never disappointed you since she went to Parliament.She is the Deputy Minister for Environment, Science, Technology and Renovation.”

Nana Akufo-Addo fumed that he don’t know any independent candidate in the area adding that no independent candidate can help him and the Asokwa Constituency.

“I’m an elephant who works with NPP members not independent candidate.” He said

The ECOWAS Chairman urged that, Ghanaians should not assume that he has already won the election.

He said, “go out and vote bum bum bum bum bum for me and Sompahemaa.”

Nana Akufo-Addo said that the people of Atonsu should give Sompahemaa another four years as they are eager to give him four more years.
