Akufo-Addo Showing Leadership – Kabila
A former General secretary of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) Mr. Kwabena Bomfeh Jnr. has given five convincing reasons that in his view , make the extension of President Akufo Addo’s tenure by another four years a must.
Speaking on Wontumi TV/Radio morning show programeme in Kumasi on Friday , Mr. Bomfa, who is fondly called Kabila, and now the Managing Editor of the news paper, The National Forum, listed six strong reasons that should be considered by all voters in making a decision on December 7 on who deserves to lead the country from 2020 to 2024.
The reasons are as follows:
“Nana Addo has shown leadership, drive and vision in education as well as crisis management of COVID-19 to the admiration of many and confounding of the few cynics.”
According to the political activist “Nana Addo has also made Agriculture attractive to the youth and become a driver for job creation under the banner, Planting for Food and Jobs.”
“The idea of creating factories towards industrialization reduces imports and improves exports –soaring our currency under the banner of One- District One factory,1D1F are landmarks.” He told Oheneba Nana Asiedu, the host.
According to Kabila, it is worthy to note that, “the NPP leader has courageously settled the dragged and prolonged Dagbon chieftaincy problem and facilitated enduring peace with the reliance on the path of culture .”
Kabila who described Nana Addo as a Pan Africanist ,continued that he has displayed focus on collaborating with other Africa leaders to avert decline or draw backs in Mali and Nigeria while joining forces with Ivory Coast to maximize cocoa profit.
The vocal political commentator and analyst added that, “Nana Addo has shown concern for the disabled in the state of the Nation Address, (SoNA)2020 by paying attention to calls for a relook at the PWD Act,2006,Act 715 as well as offering direct assistance.”
Kabilla also slammed the NDC for making a claim that they started the introduction of the free senior high school’
He quizzed: “ If the claims by the NDC of starting the Free SHS are true, why did they sponsor adverts in 2016 against what they claim they were implementing?”
