Akufo-Addo Is Ghana’s Messiah- Lawyer Obiri Boahen
A Private legal practitioner, Nana Obiri Boahen, has described President Akufo-Addo as Ghana’s messiah for announcing to make education at the tertiary level free.
According to Obiri Boahen, he entered into cloud nine when the President dropped a hint of the replication of the free SHS policy at the tertiary level at the Global Education summit held in London.
The NPP Deputy General secretary in an interview on Wontumi Radio/TV Morning Show stressed that, no government can introduce such social intervention policies.
The NPP Deputy General Secretary affirmed that, it would be a remarkable achievement for Akufo-Addo to introduce the free tertiary education.
“Though he hasn’t implemented it, I doff my hat to him because that’s what I have been waiting for so many years to hear,” he told the host of the show, Oheneba Nana Asiedu.
Lawyer Obiri Boahen predicted that, in the next 10-15 years, Ghana will develop massively but the aged will not be able to witness the development since they will go to their graves.
“If a government is introducing these policies and you don’t vote for him in elections, you will have yourself to blame,” the NPP Secretary said.
