Akufo-Addo Govt Has Established More Factories Than Any Govt Since Independence- Bawumia
The Vice President of the Republic, Dr Bawumia says despite the havoc created by COVID-19, the Akufo-Addo government has achieved a lot in the past 5 years.
According to him, the government has set up more factories than any other government since independence.
He said their government has stimulated industrialisation from the ground app through the One District One Factory Program.
Dr Bawumia was speaking on how Ghana’s Economy has been Transformed Through Digitization at Ashesi University, monitored by wontumionline.com
He indicated that the Akufo-Addo government has introduced the Development Authority, One Constituency, One Ambulance and the Zongo Development Fund.
He added that free Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and Senior High School have also been introduced.
The Vice President affirmed that the government has managed the pandemic by world-class standards.
