Akufo-Addo Eulogises Bawumia’s Mother, Describes Her As Woman Of Unfeigned Courtesy
The President of the Republic, Akufo-Addo has paid his last respect to Hajia Mariama Bawumia the mother of Vice President Dr Bawumia.
According to President Akufo-Addo, Hajia Mariama was a woman of unfeigned courtesy.
Addressing the gathering during the final Islamic Prayers (Adua) on Sunday monitored by wontumionline.com, he added that, Hajia Mariama was a remarkable woman.
“She was a devoted wife to one of the most prominent statesman and a leading spirit of the formation of the Northern People’s Party thus Alhaji Mumuni Bawumia,”
Akufo-Addo affirmed that Hajia Mariama was the mother of a man generally acknowledged as the most outstanding Vice President of the 4th Republic, thus Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
“Ghanaians thank you for your service. May you rest in the bosom of the Almighty until the last day of resurrection we all meet again,” Akufo-Addo bemoaned.
