Renowned lawyer Maurice Ampaw has tagged Archbishop Charles Agyinasare a “slay queen” pastor following his public spats with the people of Nogokpo in the Volta Region.
The Archbishop was recently in the news for passing comments which infuriated the leaders of Nogokpo community and put them in the spotlight as a demonic community.
Commenting on the impasse, lawyer Maurice Ampaw stated on Wontumi TV that “Agyinasare has made up his mind that he wants to be trending. He has turn himself into a slay queen pastor. That is the name I have given to him slay queen pastor or slay king pastor…He enjoys beefing.”
He also took a shot at Bishop Dag Heward-Mills for attacking lawyers and accountants during a sermon at his church.
Lawyer Ampaw warned the renowned man of God not to issue his legal battle with his junior pastors as a string to be insulting lawyers and accountants working on his legal issues at court.
“I think the lawyers handling his case and the accountants handling the auditing, he seems not to be happy with them. He stands in his church and throws shades at the lawyers”, lawyer Ampaw said.
He warned Bishop Dag Heward-Mills not to look down on Ghanaian lawyers and accountants and try to tarnish them as “morally corrupt” people.
“His says Ghanaian lawyers are not well trained. In fact he described us with harsh words in an unfair manner together with the accountants.
He made it look like we don’t have conscience and are morally corrupt. We lawyers don’t have a mind of our own. He insulted us mercilessly but meanwhile his wife is also a lawyer”, he said.
