Agric Ministry Advises Poultry Farmers On Measures To Combat Bird Flu
The Food and Agriculture Ministry has outlined some measures to poultry farmers on how to combat the bird flu virus.
The Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo said the poultry farmers should stop people from visiting their farms.
Speaking on Wontumi Radio/TV Morning Show on Wednesday, he said the farmers should wear protective gloves when working.
Hon. Frimpong added that the farmers should dig holes in their farms to bury the disinfected poultry birds.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Minister for Agriculture indicated that the bird flu virus in the country is not alarming.
“The virus is under control,” he noted.
