Government’s spokesperson on social services, Alhaji Yusif Fofana has noted that government’s agenda 111 project is a game changer.
He explains that on a tour to some site of the project in the Oti region, it was evident that the hospitals will go a long way to support indigenes, as this will be their first time of having a government hospital.
“Last weekend we went on a tour to inspect the agenda 111 project and in fact I must admit that the government has really done a yeoman’s job. Agenda 11 will be a game changer…if you get to Kpasa in the Oti region, and you listen to what the traditional leaders and residents are saying, it’s an indication that they are extremely happy about the project. This is the first time they are getting a government hospital”, he said.
He spoke in Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV/ Wontumi Radio with Kwaku Dawuro.
“Looking at the spate of work and where we’ve got to as far as this project is concerned, is amazing. If completed, Oti region alone will get four hospitals. This is because of the creation of the new region by Akufo-Addo. The chiefs admit that the newly created region has brought massive development to Oti region, had it not been for so, all these projects will have been situated in the southern part of Ghana”, he added.
