Abro Commends Hon. Barbra Oteng Gyasi For Impact Made On Education @ Prestea Huni Valley
Free Senior High School Crusader, Mr. Mawuli Ekpe Peter, has commended the Member of Parliament for Prestea Huni Valley, Hon. Lawyer Barbra Oteng Gyasi, for the tremendous impact she has made on education in the Prestea Huni-Valley Constituency.
According to Abro, the Minister for Tourism, Creative Arts and Culture has apart from pushing the agenda of her Ministry, she has made the urgent need for education of children in her constituency a major priority in the area .
Participating in the Kumasi-based Wontumi Radio/TV Morning Show programme as a special guest, he said that, wherever one goes in the Constituency, including the area where the former MP who is the PC for the NDC schooled Hon. Barbra Oteng Gyasi has at least provided one infrastructure relevant to education.
According to the former NDC Vice Chairman for the Nhyiaeso Constituency, he was born and bred and schooled in the Constituency adding that it is education that has given him a reputation based on class, made him get acceptance and high recognition from the public.
He urged the children at Prestea Huni-Valley Constituency to learn hard and pass their exams.
He said that, if the children pass their exam they would get the opportunity to benefit from the free SHS.
“The children should learn hard and refrain from showing regret for not having the privilege to attend the so-called International schools. Teachers who are professionals mostly teach in the state-owned schools.” He noted
Abro told Oheneba Nana Asiedu that, once the children learn hard and pass their exam they can aspire to pursue higher career goals to make the free SHS really meaningful in the long run.
