A/R: Veep Commissions Ultramodern District Assembly Complex, Residential Bungalows @ Akomadan

His Excellency Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President of the Republic has commissioned a state of the art District Assembly complex at Akomadan in the Ashanti Region.

Dr. Bawumia said that, the edifice is a clear indication of the good work the Nana Akufo-Addo and the MP for the area , Hon. Collins Ntim are executing.

Speaking at a durbar of Chiefs and people of Akomadan on his last day of working visit to the Region, His Excellency noted that the new District Assembly complex is unprecedented.

He said that, the complex is a three-storey building adding that it’s marvelous to commission ten projects at a goal in one area.

The Vice President noted that, the three storey building will have about ten bungalows, NADMO office and others.

“You didn’t get any development in the eight years administration of the NDC and that makes the diffidence between NPP and NDC.”

“Give four more years to Nana Akufo-Addo and Hon. Collins Ntim to do more for you.” He told the electorate.

He added that, the area will soon get a court complex and a judge bungalow.

Dr. Bawumia said that when he inspected the construction of NHIS block at Afrancho in the same area, the contractor said he hopes by December it would be completed.

Nana Dr. Kwaku Duah, Offinso Nifahene commended the government for the enormous projects the area has secured.

He said that the District complex would solve many of the area’s issue.

“The edifice is more than a Metropolitan Assembly. We hope to get a Metropolitan Assembly soon.” He said

Nana Kwaku Duah thanked the government for constructing NHIS office in the area and fixing the highway stretch.

“Thank you for constructing girls dormitory block for Nkenkansu Senior High School. What you have done is marvelous and that we have to commend you.” He told Dr. Bawumia

Nana Kwaku Duah, appealed to the Vice President to fix the cocoa road in the area.
