A/R: Over 300 Nkenkansu NDC Supporters Defect To NPP

Over three hundred National Democratic Congress (NDC), supporters at Nkenkansu in the Ashanti Region have crossed carpet to the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP) saying the NDC has nothing better to offer them.

“We have seen a political party that has laid good policies to help the people. We have all benefited from the free Senior High School policy.” Mr Badu noted at the durbar which was monitored by wontumionline.com

According to him, the MP for the area, Hon. Collins Ntim is their star emphasizing that, the Hon. MP has introduced cashew project as social intervention to ease the burden of the residents.

He appealed to the NPP to assist the women who have defected to the party because they have really suffered a lot in the NDC.

Chairman Wontumi, the party’s Regional Chairman gave the group a rousing welcome to the party.

He said that because of the good governance Nana Akufo-Addo is demonstrating it is not surprised for some NDC supporters to cross carpet to the NPP.

“What President Akufo-Addo has done in this COVID-19 era will make all of us vote for him.” Chairman Wontumi said.
