A/R: Esereso- Aputuogya Residents Lament Bitterly Over Slow Pace Of Road Construction

Residents of Esereso- Aputuogya stretch of road in the Bosomtwe Constituency of the Ashanti Region have expressed serious concern over the slow pace of the construction of the road network.

According to them, the contractor, Kofi Job is nowhere to be found adding that his machines are also absent.

In an exclusive interview with Nana Owusu Achiaw, the residents hinted that, dusty nature of the road hinders them from daily course.

“The dust is making us sick. The bad nature of the road make us uneasy when going to work. Even if, the contractor will not fix it, he should water it,” they said.

The aggrieved residents bemoaned that, due to the ramshackle nature of the road, drivers don’t ply the Esereso-Aputuogya route thereby making it difficult for them to embark on their normal routines.

The traders on the stretch also wept saying consumers don’t patronize their items giving complains that, dust has blown over the items.

However, they appealed to the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako aka Chairman Wontumi to address the bad road network since he is a native of Bosomtwe.

“The love we have for NPP made us exercise our franchise for the party so Chairman Wontumi should help us.” they passionately appealed.
