A/R: Chairman Wontumi To Meet Former MMDCEs On Wednesday

The office of the Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has assured Municipal and district executives who failed to cut the nomination list released by Dan Botwe that it has in place an arrangement to make sure they are not left out of government business.

This information was relayed in a statement signed by the special assistant and program’s director to Mr Bernard Antwi- Boasiako, Andy Owusu.

According to the statement, a meeting would be scheduled between all former MMDCEs from Ashanti Region and Mr Bernard Antwi- Boasiako aka Chairman Wontumi on September 22, 2021.

The Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party, Mr Bernard Antwi- Boasiako aka Chairman Wontomi is grateful for the support he has received during the process to nominate MMDCEs for the various Municipalities and Districts within the Ashanti Region.

It is a fight we all fought to win and the office would want to assure all former MMDCEs that they will not be left out in the task ahead.

Everybody’s contribution is recognized by the office and nobody will be left out as the party maps out strategies to win the 2024 elections.

Ashanti Region is the heart of the party and as Regional Chairman provisions will be made to ensure no one is left out. Just as the Bible says in my father’s house there are many mansions, the office is assuring all former MMDCEs that they will be assigned various roles in the day to day affairs of government within the Ashanti Region.

Subsequently, a meeting will be held between Chairman Wontumi and all former MMDCEs who were not nominated.
