Ghanaians Will See the Real NDC When They Start Paying Contractors and Fixing Roads – NPP’s Daniel Teiko
A member of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) communications team in the Ashanti Region, Daniel Teiko, has stated that Ghanaians will witness the true performance of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) only when the Government starts fulfilling real responsibilities of governance, such as paying contractors, constructing roads and fulfilling his manifesto promises.
Speaking on Wontumi TV, Mr. Teiko said the current stability in the economy does not necessarily reflect the actual strength or competence of the NDC.
According to him, the present economic relief is only temporary and will be tested when the NDC is forced to carry out the core duties of government.
He explained that although the Ghanaian cedi has appreciated against the US dollar in recent weeks, the prices of goods and services remain high, with some items still increasing in price.
“The fact that the cedi has gained strength doesn’t mean the economy is fully fixed. Let them start paying contractors, building roads, and responding to real government demands — that’s when the real NDC will show,” he emphasized.
