Where Did You Get $300,000 To Buy Your Lexus? Gordon Questions Sam George

Renowned radio journalist, Gordon Asare-Bediako, is calling on Sam George to explain to Ghanaians how he made close to $300,000 to purchase his flamboyant Lexus LX600 right after his party won political power.

His call follows a revelation in the media that the Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram used a loan from the Ghana Government and Parliamentary Service to purchase the car from the United States of America.

Sam George, a legislator affiliated to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has admitted being also granted an exemption to clear the luxurious vehicle.

It is on this note that Gordon Asare-Bediako is demanding full accountability and probe into the matter. He believes the NDC legislator got away with a tax exemption of something in the region of $50,000.

“The car is over $300,000 but we know parliament gave you a car loan of a little over $100,000. He should be transparent with us”, he said.

Speaking on Movement TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, he stated that he can confidently call Sam George a dishonest person based on public documents he shared to justify his purchase of the vehicle.

“The date on the letters he has shared exposes him. The Chief of Staff said everybody who was employed by the previous government after December 7th 2024, must be fired. But you (Sam George) had your letter on 3rd January 2025 to get a car”, he said.
