It’s Your Duty to Go to Court, Not Church or Hospital”– Paul Yandoh Tells Attorney General

Paul Yandoh, Ashanti Regional Communications Director of the NPP, has strongly criticized the Attorney General for remaining silent on bribery allegations made by the Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus.

Reacting to the Attorney General’s inaction, Yandoh said, “It’s your duty and responsibility to go to court, not church or hospital,” emphasizing that the Attorney General must defend the integrity of his office.

Yandoh urged him to sue the Gomoa Central MP to clear his name, warning that continued silence only fuels public doubt and undermines the credibility of the state’s legal authority.

According to Yandoh, the Attorney General’s decision not to pursue legal action over the bribery accusations made by A Plus is highly questionable and demands urgent attention.

He stressed that as a state lawyer, the Attorney General’s integrity and reputation are of utmost importance and must be defended at all costs.

“Now that you are not interested in going to court over the allegations that you wanted to bribe the vetting committee, where do you want to go?” Yandoh asked. “Your office is to prosecute cases, not to bath in the muddy waters, as you say.”
